Here Are the 100 Most Iconic Wedding Dresses of Our Time

The most important component of any bride’s big day is arguably the wedding dress. It’s the dress that makes you feel like a bride for the first time, it’s the dress that brings your friends and family members to tears and, most importantly, it’s the dress that takes your S.O.’s breath away when you walk down the aisle. Yes, the dress is super important, and through history, we have certainly seen some incredibly iconic ones on celebs, royals and other public figures. When people talk about Kate Middleton and Prince William’s wedding, it’s nearly impossible not to mention the regal yet classic gown designed by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen. When Angelina finally married Brad, the sweetest detail was that their children’s drawings were embroidered in colorful thread on the veil. The folks over at Vashi, an engagement ring site, put together a chart of the 100 most iconic wedding dresses of all time in gorgeous fashion illustration form, and we’re sharing a few of our faves.
Kate_Middleton Since we mentioned Kate Middleton already, we need to revisit the gown. During her 2011 wedding to Prince William, the Duchess of Cambridge looked every inch a royal down to her trailing veil. A reported two billion people tuned in for the royal wedding, and in her Alexander McQueen dress, Kate Middleton certainly didn’t disappoint.
Chrissy_Teigen And who could forget how stunning supermodel and cookbook chef Chrissy Teigen looked at her Lake Como wedding to husband/singer John Legend back in 2013? The happy couple are expecting their first child — a baby girl!
Lauren_Conrad Lauren Conrad went boho with loose curls and a casual tiara (if anyone could make a tiara look casual, it’s LC). The Hills alum wed husband William Tell in a super sweet, Pinterest-worthy ceremony back in 2014.
