May Day

May is officially here which means less than 6 months until We Do!! We actually cooked dinner last night together and it was nice to have some time with just us cooking a meal. We gave The Neely's a run for their money for sure:

We even had enough for lunch today so I am a happy woman as usual.

Here is what we have on tap for May to handle on our Wedding List:

1. Meet caterers.

2. Meet with the officiant. Map out the ceremony and confirm that you have all the official documents for the wedding (these vary by county and religion).

3. Book the rehearsal and rehearsal-dinner venues. Negotiate the cost and the menu. If you’re planning to host a day-after brunch for guests, book that place as well.

4. Select and order the cake. Some bakers require a long lead time. Attend several tastings before committing to any baker.

5. Schedule hair and makeup artists. Make a few appointments with local experts to try them out. Snap a photo at each so you can compare results.

6. Choose your music. What should be playing when the wedding party is announced? During dinner? To kick off the dancing? Keep a running list of what you want—and do not want—played

7. Check in with the florist

Happy May Day Readers.......179 to go!!!
