Food, Furniture and Fun...

The weekend was busy with many things but it was a good one.

Friday night was great news from Scott's Mom Marlene.. Her and her boyfriend James got engaged!!

Congratulations to them on there engagement and best wishes to them in the future.

Saturday was a busy day...

Jace had cheer practice but the times got changed from 10 to 12 instead of 12 to 2 so since we missed Cheer, we went on to run more errands.

First stop was Ramen.... Good Stuff!

Scott, Jacelyn and I LOVE this place and it was well worth it to have this... Very Good Comfort Food.

After lunch we went to Living Spaces for Furniture Shopping for the new Apartment and we found a great deal on a 5 piece living room set for 760.00 It comes with :

The Sofa, Love Seat and 3 piece table set.... Great deal for Los Angeles for sure. I think we are going to go for it but I also think Jacelyn and Scott would like these chairs as well....

After a run to Target and some stuff done at home Scott and I met up with Esther for Part Deux at Animal. She came bearing a housewarming gift for us... Our first official gift! Yay!!!

These are our lovely Stemless Wine Glasses for those moments when wine is necessary! Thanks Wu!

Now comes the food!

House Chardonnay  

Sliced Pig Head, Hush Puppy, pickled ramp vinaigrette

Of course, foie gras terrine, blackberry jam, black pepper gastrique

veal tongue, smoked foie gras, pastrami spices, crab apple

liquid foie gras agnolotti, corn, pepato

foie gras, biscuit, maple sausage gravy

And there was no way we could not have the barbeque pork belly sandwiches, slaw

And you know Scott enjoyed them...

Scott got an added bonus of not only meeting the Chefs/Owners of the Restaurant but he got an Autograph copy of their cookbook as well......AWESOME!

All in all, it was an great Saturday.

Sunday my cousins on my Grandfather's side of the family came down to visit...

Michelle, Brian, Adam and Richard

They are here in LA LA land for a few days so we had Family Dinner at my Grandparents House

Always good times to be had with the family.

So that is the weekend in a nut shell... O did I mention that I just about pack up my closet for the move?? Yay me!
