The Flower Foolery..

So, Scott and I met with a Friend of a Family Member about doing our flowers for our wedding.. Our thought was that we didn't need a big bank of flowers but for sure some to complement the day.

We have been communicating for about a year and about a month ago, things went south.

We had set up a meeting to talk with him about details and have not heard from him since. I tried to keep contacting him but still no avail. I was freaking out and in a bit of panic because I didn't understand how we had not heard from him at all.


So since Friday, I have been online, searching and looking for a florist in our Price range. The bouquets and Boutonnieres were not my issue as much as the centerpieces were. I was getting discouraged... Until my MOH Sheauen said, You know you don't need to have flowers as centerpieces..... EUREKA YOUR RIGHT!

So we went on a hunt for alternatives for Centerpieces and here is what I found:

And after searching and searching we came up with the PERFECT IDEA....CUPCAKES!!!

Scott and I's wedding colors are Chocolate, Vanilla and Red Velvet, So our accidental theme would be Sweet Treats! Its a great idea to incorporate one of favorites sweets EVER!  Now the question became... How do we present the sweet treats... One Idea was Cupcake Stands/Plates/ Tier

Then we thought it would be good to do a Cupcakes in Boxes Pyramid Style.

Then I found something that would work in more ways than one and be a triple threat.....

Its the perfect idea.... The boxes will serve as place cards and when the guest get to the table, there will find a tower of Cupcakes as centerpieces! Towards the end of the night, they can take their cupcake and put in their place card/cupcake box!!


That lets me breathe a little easier.. Now all we have to do is get a florist for the ceremony items we need and we are set.
