Art, Football and 60 inches....

Hey Blogger Buddies... Here is the Weekend Recap.

Friday after getting off of work early, I headed home because Jeamy was coming over to hang with us. When he arrived, he had a beautiful painting that he had done for us as a gift...

He is so talented at Art and Design.. Don't be surprised if you hear his name again somewhere in time. Scott made his Grandmother's Famous Fried Chicken Recipe and we enjoyed each others company. We also got our 1st decline for our wedding.... I was a little bummed to hear from my Great Uncle that he would not be able to make it but understood and looking forward to seeing him at the Family Reunion in June.

Saturday morning my internal alarm clock woke me up at 7:00am so I took advantage of the early time and did our laundry. Now that we are at a place where we don't have our own washer and dryer in house, we have to use the shared laundry facility. Its actually a good one, a little pricey but I am glad to have it. I was able to wash every ones clothes all at once and was done by 9:00am.

After that, I got back to watching Everybody Loves Raymond on Netflix:

I had heard of the show before but never really watched it... Until I started dating Scott. He LOVES the show and now I am staring to love it a bit myself...

After a few episodes of the show and a small Cat Nap, we headed out to Jacelyn's Cheer for the day. We played the Torrance Panthers so there was some confusion going on since we are the LA Panthers... It was Panther Packed to say the least. We won the game 46-0 and are still undefeated!

After the game, we came home, got Jacelyn situated and headed over to our friends Jessica and Bryant's house for Bryant's surprise party. He thought that we all forgot about his birthday but he was surprised. It was a good night of Pizza, Crack Dip (Its becoming a thing now), Netflix and Dominos.

We got home late and I noticed that Scott had wrote me a note :

Yeah he knows how to make me smile.

Sunday, Sunday, Sunday is NFL DAY!!!!

I am so excited that Football is back that I can not contain myself! I got up and made us all breakfast

and we watch the debt of Robert Griffin III or better known as RG3

I don't have a favorite team at all but I was happy to see him play so well. Its nice to know there are still some good fundamental players out there fresh out of college...

After the game, Jacelyn went to Mini Golf with her Cheer Squad while Scott and I went to do something I have been trying to get done for weeks... The Tuxedo Shop!!

Yes we finally picked Tuxedos.. after going over colors, vest and ties, we picked out the suits for everyone and are now ready to order.

So Tuxedos were done so we decided to go over to Best Buy and look at Televisions. Here is a quick back story. When we moved in, we had a 32 inch TV and decided that it would be enough, But it seems that when people come over, they always would comment that we had a big enough area for a bigger TV.. Which in some ways is true by the picture you see below:

So we decided that we should get a bigger TV. We did some research and decided on a 60 inch... yes 60 inch TV:

And as you can see.. Scott is EXCITED about it... So much at that I see more Call of Duty in his future...

I see that we will be doing more entertaining at our home in the near future.

Here is what is on tap for this week:

1. Call Hair Stylist to get that set up
2. Follow Up with Vendors
3. Check on Bachelorette Party RSVP's
4. Shoes for Jacelyn and Xzyria.... I got to get this done
