Attorneys Annie and Robert are a study in contrasts. Genesa Richards Photography captured how the pair's complementary personalities imbued their Tacoma wedding on a university campus and their elegant reception at the federal courthouse (a converted train station). Lively fuchsia, yellow and tangerine accents harmonized beautifully with a refined navy background.

There was a little something for everyone at Liz and Jeff's colorful reception: a dance floor, photo booth, free tours of the Museum of Wisconsin Art gallery, photo ops with the lovable UW-Madison mascot Bucky Badger (a nod to Liz's alma mater) and even a separate room in the gallery where guests were led by an art teacher and encouraged to paint their own masterpieces. “Our wedding was the most colorful day of our lives, and we worked really hard to make sure that every aspect of our day was customized to reflect us," Liz says. “One of the best compliments we received was when several guests said they felt like they knew us better after sharing our wedding weekend with us."

Set against a dramatic view of the Teton Mountain Range, Katie and Cody wed in an stunning mountain celebration captured by Carrie Patterson Photography. “We wanted to embody the western culture, mixed with a little bit of home [Texas], without being too kitschy," Katie says of outfitting their venue with faux-sheepskin-covered chairs before treating guests to spicy-hibiscus margaritas, pulled-pork tacos and a night of dancing.

Danielle and Doug planned a sophisticated and original soiree at the Decatur House in Washington, DC, all of which was captured by photojournalist Rodney Bailey. Just steps from the White House, the mansion gave guests a “true DC experience," with a refined color scheme of black, white, navy and emerald with pops of vibrant magenta and gold. “We're both in the special-events industry, so it was really important for us to keep our guest list intimate and the feeling of the wedding personal," Danielle says.
