 A wedding proposal like the one captured in the video above sounds like the premise of a Hollywood movie: A pilot of 30 years makes inflight announcements day-in and day-out, but the one he made over the weekend changed his life forever. (Cue Natalie Cole’s “This Will Be” set to a Nancy Meyers-directed montage of ecstatic pretty people eating in the kitchen of your dreams.)
The plane was flying from Melbourne to Los Angeles, when the pilot told the entire plane that a very special passenger was on board. Then he asked her a question. Qantas posted a Facebook video of the magic moment, which has been viewed more than 300,000 times.
